We have arrived!...finally!

We made it! Finally after a 4 hr flight to JFK then 6hr layover followed by a 9hr flight to Tel Avie with a short bus trip to the BYU Jerusalem Center. We are all sooooo drossy and probably won't remember much of the tour and orientation but all is well. All I have to say is thank goodness for NyQuil and knocking me out for the entire 9 hr flight.

We started our visit out right with sitting in the main auditorium listening to this legit guy play the organ while they opened up the huge curtains revealing the entire glass wall that looks out on the old city. It was even during sunset. It was beautiful. Then we went on a tour and to be honest it is all a blur and I will probably get lost on my way to class on Friday but no worries I blame jet lag (the perfect excuse).

Highlight of the day: taking down my carry on and hearing catch phrase's timer beeping in the bag and hoping that no one thinks it is a bomb. Come to think of it it was more of a scary thing than a highlight but we all got a good laugh out of it.

Tomorrow we are taking a walk to the old city for the first time. Sorry this is short but I am exhausted and I have to finish unpacking and finally take a shower.

Love you all!
